I've been procrastinating most of the day from studying, but I will be up late reading until my eyes start to close and well up...which hopefully won't happen right away : / Anyway, of course I have been surfing the web and finding some amazing blogs, some of which are: www.greenweddingshoes.com (suggested to me by my future sister-in-law); www.loveandlavender.com - another one that I stumbled upon and Love!; & www.ruffledblog.com which I have yet to explore fully, but looks exceedingly promising. :) So, for anyone out there who stumbles upon my wee blog, please feel free and check these out because you can get some Lovely ideas from these sites and some things are just AMAZING to look at - people are really crazy/crafty/talented these days. So, what I just wanted to post real quick was my semi-color scheme for my bridesmaid dresses and therefore some of the tid-bits to Our wedding! Aaah. You will be seeing a Whole lotta color, but what I am doing is having my lovely ladies chose a color, or a few colors that they like, & basically find a dress in a similar hue or that exact one if they can manage. The dresses can have patterns, different textures & styles, polka dots lol whatever they find that fits into the large scheme. The only stipulations that will have to be followed are most likely a short dress, & in-between a sun/cocktail dress. P.S. there are only 8 beauties in my bridal party so not all the colors will be chosen & for that matter, some of the dresses may be similar in color. P.P.S. I'm not opposed to blouses tucked into skirt options either - pretty much anything goes at this Bash! Now, Without further ado:

Hope you can get some inspiration from my color block, you can see that I'm into the pale pinky/peachy/mauves, but I like some PoPs of color too!

& For those Brides out there who are trying to figure out a color scheme: Check out the paint sample section and score some free color slabs!!! :]

So, as of late, I have become quite the online connoisseur. Started up this blog to keep track of my crafts and record all the little steps along the way to planning our wedding, & now, after receiving a suggestion from one of my very best girlfriends -- I decided to create a wedding website on www.weddingwire.com. It is super easy to use and it has some extremely useful features such as an online seat planner & an RSVP option! Love both of those ideas!! It's also a really cool way to keep people updated on your wedding plans, show them your style, and let them in on how everything began :) I guess I just can't say enough good things about it, so check it out!

On another note, i found out that there are websites out there that will let you enter the url of a youtube music video and it will convert that clip into an mp3 file. In other words, you can download free songs onto your computer! Another awesome thing I discovered today. For some reason I didn't note the website I used, but I think  it's this one http://www.vidtomp3.com/. I used this to upload a song onto my wedding website! Neato!!

Lastly, I'm pretty certain that we have our Reception site picked out! We did go see the place last weekend and we also went garage sale shopping, (I have yet to post the pics of my findings :P). Here are some of my fav. pics of the tour!

Beautiful isn't it!! This is along the side of the reception site, perfect for fun pictures & outdoor games oooooooh!

I thought it would be cute to line up the bridal/grooms party here & have them sit boy/girl and snap some shots - of course the Bride & Groom will be in the middle :]

This picture doesn't make it look that big, but out on the patio is where the tables are going! Outdoor reception!!!! So excited!

& here is the front of our place. It's called the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. Cocktails will be held inside, dancing, and dinner will be outside. I feel like this place is a hidden gem! I wouldn't have found it if it weren't for a local photographer & I am beyond ecstatic that I did because pictures don't do it justice!!

It seems as though this is just the sort of place that we were looking for, somewhere to host our vintage inspired laid-back wedding. Sometime this coming week we will hopefully secure our date, so one of the biggest tasks on our to-do list will be fulfilled! Next up is to contact the Church and then start looking into different caterers. In the meantime, I'm going to focus on my schoolwork and do some garage/thrifty searching in-between.

Sounds like a plan stan - So much work lol just gotta take it one step at a time & hopefully the final product will make it all worthwhile :)
